It will be held on Saturday\, April 25th at Noon at the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame Lobby. It is Free to attend the performance with no ticket required. All ages are welcome.\n\nLoretta Lynn was known for her songs and stories as she came from Butcher Holler\, Kentucky. Loretta broke barriers\, told women’s stories with honesty and grit\, and changed country music forever. Her voice\, songwriting\, and fearless spirit continue to inspire generations. She was also one of our pioneer inductees in 2002 and helped established the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Join us as we celebrate her life and music through this special performance. This program is funded in part by the KY humanities and the National Endowment for the Humanities.

SUMMARY:3rd Annual Quilt Show at KMHOF
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Quilt Show at the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame will be held on Saturday\, February 7th from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. It is FREE to enter up to 2 quilts. Admission to the show is $5 per person with children 12 & under free.\n\nWe will have three different categories this year including Hand-Sewn Quilts\, Machine Embroidered Quilts and Recycled Quilted Items (purses\, coats\, stuffed animals\, etc.). Quilts and items will be judged the day of the event by the general public receiving 1 ballot to vote. First place in all categories and divisions will receive $100 cash prize each. We will have Quilt Vendors selling fabric and other quilting related items as well as Cumberland Roots Coffee and Beverly Ann’s Cookie Truck on site.\n\nYou will drop off your quilts and items anytime on Friday\, February 6th from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM or Saturday\, February 7th 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Learn about the Techniques in Songwriting\, Copyrighting Your Music\, Working with Song Publishing Companies\, Streaming Your Music and Getting Paid for Online Streams\, as well as enjoy a songwriting session with Rebecca. This hands on approach has been great for fellow songwriters that are serious about their craft.\n\nRebecca Lynn Howard has written songs for Martina McBride\, Trisha Yearwood\, Runaway June\, Point of Grace\, and Charles Esten. She has recorded with Dolly Parton\, Vince Gill\, Patty Loveless\, and Alan Jackson. She has also toured with Steven Tyler (Aerosmith)\, Kenny Rogers\, Alan Jackson\, Blake Shelton\, Gretchen Wilson\, and The Loving Mary Band.\nNotable\, too\, are her top-10 album and single (2002’s “Forgive”) and an emotional\, roots-driven style that has\, at times\, placed her within bluegrass’ iconic lineage of achieving a “high\, lonesome sound.”\n\nPlease complete the form below to apply to be a participant into the program. DESCRIPTION:Renfro Valley Dual Sport Motorcycle Ride will be held on May 3-4\, 2025. Participants will ride approximately 100 miles each day of challenging trails and scenic winding roads through the KY Renfro Valley region\, including the Daniel Boone Forest. DESCRIPTION:Kentucky Music Hall of Fame will host their 2nd Annual Quilt Show on Saturday\, February 1st\, 2025.  It is free to enter up to 2 quilts. There will be two categories\, youth (17 & under) and Adult (18 and older). Attendees will vote for their favorite quilt\, and we will have a winner in each category. Winners will take home a $100 cash prize. \nAdmission is $5 per person (Children 12 & under free). DESCRIPTION:Renfro Valley Dual Sport Motorcycle Ride will be held on May 4th and 5th. The ride is on challenging trails and scenic winding roads that wind through teh Daniel Boone Forest. Much of this course is used only once a eyar during this dual sport ride. You’ll get to take in the view of the beautiful scenery and famous landmarks. Come join us for plenty of fun! There is NO limit on the number of riders. Riding miles is 90-100 miles each day. \nRegistration will be held at KY Music Hall of Fame & Museum at 2590 Richmond Road\, Mt. Vernon\, KY 40456.
