SUMMARY:Business of Songwriting Workshop with Rebecca Lynn Howard
DESCRIPTION:Kentucky Music Hall of Fame & Museum will be hosting a Songwriter Workshop with Kentucky native Rebecca Lynn Howard on November 1st\, 2025. It will be from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Learn about the Techniques in Songwriting\, Copyrighting Your Music\, Working with Song Publishing Companies\, Streaming Your Music and Getting Paid for Online Streams\, as well as enjoy a songwriting session with Rebecca. This hands on approach has been great for fellow songwriters that are serious about their craft.\n\nRebecca Lynn Howard has written songs for Martina McBride\, Trisha Yearwood\, Runaway June\, Point of Grace\, and Charles Esten. She has recorded with Dolly Parton\, Vince Gill\, Patty Loveless\, and Alan Jackson. She has also toured with Steven Tyler (Aerosmith)\, Kenny Rogers\, Alan Jackson\, Blake Shelton\, Gretchen Wilson\, and The Loving Mary Band.\nNotable\, too\, are her top-10 album and single (2002’s “Forgive”) and an emotional\, roots-driven style that has\, at times\, placed her within bluegrass’ iconic lineage of achieving a “high\, lonesome sound.”\n\nPlease complete the form below to apply to be a participant into the program. The cost is $50 per person and includes catered lunch and snacks/drinks. You will be notified if approved and will be emailed an invoice to pay $50 fee.
